A teacher at a Maharashtra school received a heartwarming surprise on Teacher’s Day when her students staged a fake fight, only to greet her with cheers and a bouquet instead.
A video of the episode was shared by Sargam – a class 10 student of Jaywant International School in Karad – on Instagram and has gone viral with over 54 million views.
The clip begins with the teacher rushing down the hallway, seemingly ready to resolve a fight in a classroom after being urgently informed by other students.
However, as she stormed through the door, she was greeted not with chaos, but cheers and a burst of confetti. Her students, who had staged the “fight” as a part of a Teacher’s Day prank, welcomed her with a bouquet and a warm applause.
The teacher’s expression of confusion quickly turned into delight as she realised it was all a part of the students’ surprise celebration. Her initial sternness melted into a smile, and the internet couldn’t get enough of her adorable reaction.
